Father’s Day

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Father’s Day! This is our first summer ever where we both (usually) have weekends free and it’s been great to have something to look forward to every week. Saturday was spent shopping, eating an incredible lunch at Queen Charlotte Tea Room and then taking Abby for her first trip… I’m sure of many… to Niagara Falls.

Daddy and daughter! Heart melter.

It was insanely hot. Thank goodness for the breeze and mist when you got close to the falls because we were dying! And we couldn’t stop talking about how delicious our food was at the restaurant. Easily the best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted and their herbal tea and scones were lovely.

Sunday we went to church and then stopped by Springridge Farm for their Father’s Day food truck event. It was packed but since we got there towards the end the lines were short.

Can never go wrong with poutine. We couldn’t stop talking about this either. So much food, I know. Haha.

And then the weekend ended like this, with sweet naps on the couch :) Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Abby and I are so lucky to have you, babe! Happy Father’s Day!
